Unraveling the end of construction projects
ADiCu is a five-year research project funded by the Croatian Science Foundation (HRZZ), focused on developing agile digital solutions for circular construction, with a particular emphasis on the end-of-life phases of construction projects.
The project integrates BIM technologies, agile methodologies and circular economy principles to improve material flow management, enable reuse of construction elements, and develop operational, business and regulatory models applicable in real-world practice.
Within ADiCu, the end of a building’s life cycle is treated as the starting point of a new one, creating a foundation for systemic change in how construction projects are designed, delivered and closed.
Project duration: 2026–2031
