The ADiCu project research activities are structured within a five-year work plan, in line with the defined project objectives (C1–C5). The activities include theoretical research, development of digital tools, pilot testing, regulatory analysis, and continuous collaboration with stakeholders from industry and the public sector.
The main research activities include:
- analysis of market barriers and opportunities for integrating the circular economy in construction
- development of a BIM-based framework for tracking material flows throughout the building life cycle
- definition, development, and validation of a digital tool for agile monitoring of circularity performance
- development and testing of innovative business models for circular construction
- analysis and proposals for adapting construction standards and regulations at national and EU levels
- implementation of pilot projects to test methodologies, tools, and business models
- organization of interactive workshops and scientific-professional events for knowledge transfer and exchange
Research activities are carried out iteratively through annually planned results, with continuous validation and adaptation based on collected data and feedback from practice.
